Abri & The Everlasting
Abri & The Everlasting are a Dubai-based collective of four seasoned musicians at the forefront of the region’s original Soul and Funk movement. Led by acclaimed Emirati/Tanzanian vocalist ABRI, whose roots trace back to Zanzibar and who has shared stages with Herbie Hancock, Erykah Badu, Kamasi Washington, Ziggy Marley and The JB Horns, the band is united by a shared passion for groove and original music. Blending Soul, Funk and Reggae, with influences drawn from Jazz and Afrobeat, they deliver a raw, fully live sound driven by deep grooves, fearless improvisation and undeniable chemistry.
Alongside ABRI are Ratish Chadha (Drums/India), Jerome Deligero (Guitar/Philippines) and Steven Bedford (Bass/UK). Having officially embarked on their journey as a band in 2025, they have already performed at XP Music Futures in Saudi Arabia and performed with Grammy-nominated keyboardist Elijah Fox in Dubai. In October 2026, they released their debut album, The Healing, on Ishtar Global - a record built on love, organic grooves and connection.
For Sole DXB, the band expands into a seven-piece, featuring Latin Grammy-winning percussionist Larry Ararat and saxophone duo Dayan Quintero and Jorge Conde.
